Accident insurance for employees (AA)

OBJECT OF INSURANCE

The insurance is contracted by the employer for the employees with employment/work contract/mandate.

The policy covers persons aged between 18 and 69, provided that at the expiry date  the insured person does not exceed the age of 70 years.

Persons:

-who have a permanent disability greater than 50%,

-who show health problems, who need care (persons who are dependent on other’s aid to meet daily affairs)

-with mental illness

cannot be covered by the accident insurance.

Contractor’s employees who’s work contracts are terminated (or suspended)  for any reason, lose the quality of Insured.

 

INSURED RISKS

BASIC RISKS

EUROINS covers the risks of permanent disability and death, that occur during the  validity period of the insurance contract as a result of accidents.

At the request of the Contractor, and subject to the Insured/Contractor having paid the agreed extra premium, insurance can be extended:

a) outside the employee's working hours (covering 24 hours of 24),

b) outside the country, for the provision of works and services under contracts, agreements or otherwise provided by law, signed by the Contractor with foreign partners.

 

SPECIAL EXTENSIONS

-occupational diseases;

-hospitalization,

-convalescence due to accidents,

-temporary disability;

-surgery;

-burns;

-medical expenses;

-bone fractures;

-plaster immobilization device.

 

SIGNING OF THE CONTRACT

The insurance contract may be concluded in one of the following forms:

a) without nominees - for groups over 30 persons - with mandatory inclusion of all eligible members of the group or all eligible members part of the same category;

b) nominal - for groups equal to/less than 30 persons - updating members’ lists;

c) nominal – for groups in which the contractor does not want to include all members, but only some of them.

In this case, coverage is valid only for nominees.

 

INSURANCE PREMIUM

Insurance premiums are paid in full and in advance and in no more than four installments.

Failure to pay a premium installment on its due date shall result in suspension of the contract.

 

INSURED’S/CONTRACTOR’S OBLIGATIONS

The Contractor must provide upon EUROINS’ request the operating permit issued by the Labor Inspectorate where the Contractor is registered, regarding work safety in accordance with law.

 If the number of staff changes during the validity of the insurance contract, the Contractor shall notify EUROINS about this change.

The Contractor is obliged to communicate to EUROINS the occurrence of the work accident within 3 working days following the event.
