OBJECT OF INSURANCE

EUROINS insures the owners, (legal persons or individuals) of vehicles registered in Romania and that hold a (valid) Motor Third Party Liability policy with EUROINS.

INSURED RISKS

EUROINS shall grant compensations for damages to the isured vehicle due to a traffic accident occurred within the teritorial limitis of Romania, that implicates full or partial liability of a third party that at the moment of the accident was driving a vehicle covered by a (valid) Motor Third Party Liability policy issued by a different insurance company or covered by an intenational insurance document.

TERITORIALITY

The insurance in only valid in Romania.

LIABILITY PERIOD

Insurance period is 1 year of 6 months (in accordance with the insured period on the Motor Third Party Liability policy).

THE SUM INSURED

Vehicles are covered by the insurance policy at their fair/real value on the inception date of the insurance, but no more than 15.000 EUR or the equivalent in lei on occurrence date of the insured event.

The real value of the vehicles translates as  their value as new corrected with the appropriate depreciation coefficients determined in relation to age, usage and maintenance of the vehicle at the time of the accident, according to the scale of depreciation under the norms of the no. 5/2010 Order of the CSA.

THE INSURANCE PREMIUM

Insurance premiums are paid in full and in  advance before the entry into force of the policy.
