Voluntary health insurance (BB)
OBJECT OF INSURANCE
EUROINS based on the insurance contract and in exchange of the insurance premium paid by The Contractor/Insured, is obligated to cover, on occurrence of the insured risks, the medical costs/expenses due to the injury and/or ilness of the Insured which resulted in the access of the covered benefits.
INSURED RISKS
Based on the general conditions of the insurance, during the insured period, the risks of illness or injury of the Insured are covered according to the terms and clauses attached to and mentioned in the insurance policy as agreed upon at the inception of the policy, with a waiting period of 3 (three) months (period of time specified in the insurance policy, calculated from the inception date of the policy, during which the inurer does not cover costs/medical expenses under the terms of insurance, except for events caused by accidents).
WHO MAY BENEFIT FROM A PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY?
· Any person domiciled or resident in Romania aged on inception date between 30 days and 60 years;
· Dependent persons (dependent children, husband/wife) may be insured by the person contracting the policy;
· Employees of companies (aged from 18 to 60 years) may become insured under group policies that their employer contracts in their favor.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS GAINED BY CONTRACTING A PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY?
· The highest standards in health care;
· Initial consultations, consultations and investigations using the latest technology in medical field;
· Visits or overseeing the development of the patient at home;
· Surgery according to the terms of the required insurance plan;
· The number of consultations or surgery is only limited up to the sum insured agreed upon inception of the policy.
INSURED’S OBLIGATIONS
· To inform EUROINS within 48 hours of taking note of any changes in the information taken into consideration when signing the policy
· To take the necessary measures to minimize the duration of the insured event, following the recommendations of prescribers, strictly following the prescribed treatment, refraining from activities that may affect/negatively influence his recovery;
· To submit to medical examination performed by a physician approved by EUROINS, if EUROINS requests it.
